Nice knife. Love the beefy blade. Handle and frame are a little thicker than I like, but it fits well in my hand. Definitely not carrying it every day. For the price I am happy.

Build is really good, perfect centering, action is awesome. It is big. I like it but not as much as the workshop manager, as he has HUGE hands! Grip is very good.

This is a great EDC knife if you don't mind the weight (which I don't). The assisted opening action is nice and smooth, but it can bottom out at the top of the stroke and not engage the lock. That's not a problem if you give it a good amount of pressure. It also opens easily using the knob on the blade or just grasping the back of the blade. When you close it, it feels like there is a magnet in the handle that pulls it tight or maybe that's just the design of the hinge.
The blade is sharp and very wide and thick. The grips/handle may not be the best for everyone, but they are perfect for me and it feels really solid in the hand. I do wish the clip was wider and more substantial than it is, but I have not had an issue with it yet.
Overall, I really like the knife and look forward to having it around for years.

Great knife. Solid build well centered blade. I like heavier durable knives and this one is such a knife. I bought the drop point. Only niggle the blade was a little stiff opening the first few days.

I can't knock the knife for it's quality of materials. It is well assembled, too. I did not care for the balance in my hand, or the grip pattern. The size of the blade is almost spade-like. I was going to either keep it as a spare 'beater knife', or trade it. I traded it instead for a set of night sights on my Browning Hi Power. I have a Tops-Buck CSAR that is a very similar, but make no doubt, far superior to this knife.

That is a great question, thank you! As previously stated, the balance was 'off', the Tops/Buck is heavier overall, and has a much better balance because it has more weight in the handle. Also, the shape of the blade on the CSAR isn't as deep from the cutting edge to the spine, so you don't lose sense of where your edge is through the cut, if that makes sense (leverage). The CSAR feels as sturdy as a non-folder when opened, I don't get that solid feel from the Proelia. The Proelia is a nice knife for 99% of what you'd likely do, and comes 'razor' SHARP. It's just that you could use the CSAR to beat the Proelia to death. *edit* I would rate the Proelia a 3.7. I would rate the CSAR a 5. as I cannot find fault with it.

Trident731Thank You for taking the time to answer my questions. I genuinely appreciate it. It’s great getting first hand knowledge from someone who owns and uses the product I’m interested in purchasing. Brother you give very good and real world reviews. You definitely have a knack for it. Thank you again

Exceptionally nice folder. I really like the blade (tanto) and it holds an edge. Would be a good fighting knife if needed. Cons are it’s kind of bulky in the pocket, not really fast to deploy, and is not very sharp out of the box.

Extremely well built knife. A lot in the pocket and in the hand. Not an everyday carry knife but will serve you well in tactical situations. Blade deploys effortlessly. Great purchase.

Canadian Customs
As a Canadian, flipper tabs on knives existed in a grey area from about 2018 to 2019, and then they fixed the wording which made the rules less ambiguous. I ordered this knife before becoming aware that the laws had changed around 2018 making these kinds of knives basically illegal. This knife was seized by customs and I lost my money and all that. I was excited to get this knife but that's how the cookie crumbles, I guess. Canadians should be extremely wary of buying flipper tab knives and please Drop, you know I live in Canada, stop sending me promotional material for knives that feature flipper tabs.
