Aluminum Chassis With Short Wheelbase
This DIY kit includes many of the components you’ll need to build the Trail Finder 2. Most notable, the aluminum ladder-frame chassis is constructed with a short wheelbase, or SWB, which not only gives it a scale appearance but also allows for tight maneuvering over and around obstacles. The TF2 kit comes with an R3 single-speed transmission, 4WD drivetrain, Mud Thrasher tires, and leaf-spring suspension. Add your own motor, waterproof electronics, and a Tamiya Jeep Wrangler or Unimog body, and you’ve got a rock-crawling replica of an off-road classic.

Combo Option: ESC & Brushed Motor Combo
For the best in rock-crawling performance, the Tekin FX-R ESC offers excellent drag brake resolution with lock-down holding power, adjustable reverse type with reverse delay, no reverse or instant reverse, and smooth low-speed creep and precision throttle and braking response. Meanwhile, the 35T Heavy-Duty T-Series Brushed Motor feature upgraded ferrite magnets for improved performance.
