Is the acrylic aluminum base worth it so you don't have those feet?

PaprikaI've been giving solid thought to this. It is a shame that they didn't provide more photos about the base. I would have like to see how it looks on the side, to get a sense of the height and the shape. Secondly, from what I can understand from seeing the photos, the base touches the case on the forefront meaning that the acrylic part gets to shine lights only on the back: so there is no light anymore on the front facing area. This turns me off a little just because you lose a good part of the lighting effect that faces you. I'm not sure how much of the inner case gets lit, but it looks like bleeding light from the edges and not discrete light under each switch. The feet, I must admit look cheap for such a pricey case. The dream for me would be a slopped cased so it wouldn't need feet as much, but oh well, there might be more interesting feet third party options afterwards. Thirdly, the aluminum base adds a lot to the price, will make the keyboard also heavier, although sturdier. Personally, I'm considering investing that money in other accessories and gear. The winning point here is the 96 keys, still in a close to 60 form factor.
