The Ricoh GR II Digital Camera features its predecessor’s large 16.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor for high-resolution images with low noise at up to ISO 25600—plus built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. This sensor, omitting the optical low-pass filter, works alongside the GR ENGINE V image processor and Ricoh GR 18.3mm f/2.8 lens (equivalent to 28mm) to produce sharp, richly colored images. Plus, the magnesium alloy body has a solid hand grip and physical control buttons for intuitive, DSLR-like handling.
The GR II offers continuous shooting up to 4 frames per second and full HD 1080p video recording up to 30 frames per second with autofocus. The High-Speed AF system locks focus in just 0.2 second, and the JPEG or DNG RAW image capture gives you full control over post-processing. Using the built-in flash, the camera can wirelessly communicate with the AF360FGZII and AF540FGZII external flashes, so you can quickly and easily set up a complete lighting solution with cables or additional triggers and receivers.
