I bought it for the pretty factor, it's a cool pen and not bad ergonomically, though I don't really write that much at the moment and maybe I'm not the best judge. I got the purple-blue pen, and the anodizing is gorgeous. Looking from the carbide end, the color looks gold, while it's a light purple from almost any other angle. It's super nice, a great way to check out Richard Wu's anodizing work.

Way better than Benchmade, or any other brand, and I have owned many. Fit and finish are superb. Cartridge is so-so, but that part can always be fixed. Love the solid titanium clip and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

I have a Benchmade pen and I love it, you really think this one is better than that? Also, when you take the cap off, does it snap on to the tail of the pen or it has to stay off while the pen is being used?

The biggest problem is there is no reliable way to secure the top after you unscrew it from the pen. The odd shape ridges on the body prevent a secure retention of the top if you try to press it to the top end of the pen. I can't begin to count the number of times I've tried to push the loose top onto the top end of the body only to have it fall off after just a minute or two of use. I'm afraid it will soon pop off into a space where I can't retrieve it.
The slots cut in the body serve only to provide an ugly view of the writing on the pen ink cartridge.
And the color does not match the vividness of the color (green) shown in the photograph.

A cool and unique pen at a good price
I really like this pen! I dig the styling and the weight of it. I replaced the pen cartridge with a Parker Quink Gel refill and I'm quite happy with the way it writes. Based on other people's reviews, I was concerned that the anodization would be dodgy, but my pen has a nice, uniform green color. It's true however that there's no good place to store the cap when you take it off to write, and that's my only real criticism against the pen.

Love the pen. Writes great and feels good in your hand. Would definitely recommend it. My only complaint would be the color. It’s kinda boring. I thought it would have been more gold in color. But other than that I love it!
