the body seems to be open and cartridge visible/exposed...wouldn't that cause risk for water and other debris/dust to easily get inside? or am I missing something?

MartinOfRiviaIf you use a fisher space pen refill (or really any other pressurized cartridge) you really don’t have to worry about water
