frankieboy4dIf you're talking about the chest, they are measuring the width of the vest from armpit to armpit, so twice that is the total circumference of the outside of the vest. I don't have any Rothco products, but there are comments on some of the Rothco jacket drops that they run kinda large.

Utter and complete nonsense. I've been carrying for close to 40 years and worn vests of varying descriptions (leather for the scooter, 5.11 styles, photography and denim vests), and open carried for the last five years to boot, which supposedly is also supposed to get you shot. Still kickin', still carryin', never had to draw and never been drawn on. I hope that record stands for however long I have left on this planet, but whether it does or doesn't, it's still a first-hand account of a substantial record that debunks the myth you're trying to promulgate.
Gun owners are their own worst enemies, spreading these kinds of myths farther and wider than even the anti-gun crowd tries to. There is barely even verifiable anecdotal evidence to support the "shoot me first" meme of vests and OC, but there's zero statistical evidence.

You act like you are responsible because you state "...statistics speak loudly..." In fact, you don't know what you are talking about. The most rigorous studies of gun-related deaths consistently say something different. How do I know? I have read almost all of the most-cited studies. Plus, meta-studies (statistical analysis of the studies) indicate that all the anti-gun "studies" are terribly executed. Having said that, I request that the community refrain from political posturing. This is not a forum for political debate.
I'm sorry for my part, but I simply couldn't let a blatant misrepresentation stand.
I have a couple items by Rothco,and think highly of them. I simply can't accept that this item is also good based on the description. I will need to find user reviews to make a better assessment.
