Took forever to ship, the pencils have terrible barcode stickers on them that leave a gross residue (took it off with goo gone). The pencils are NOT metal like I expected, and feel very, very cheap.

Cheaper on Amazon, and the rOtring 500 is a lower-end model.
Now, show me a deal for ONE rOtring 800 for $24.99, and you'll likely have my attention.

UnixRoninI went on this site to say the same thing. The rOtring 300 is the lowest end model. Currently, Amazon has the rOtring 500 pencil available for $12.07 each (0.5 or 0.7 mm and free shipping). The rOtring 800 sells for $30. Either way, I still like Massdrop (so far).

Massdrop failed to send the package to me. I believe they are lost in the mail, as tracking hasn't updated in almost two weeks now

My bad for not doing my research before getting this drop, but be aware that these are plastic barrels, not metal/aluminum like the rotring's I've used and loved in the past. I made an assumption and find myself disappointed. All on me, but the description should clearly state that these are plastic.
You have to get the 600 for a metal barrel...

Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 9/12.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the rOtring 500 Mechanical Pencil (2-Pack) and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 9/12.
