RPMWEST Quarter Century Duffels & Backpacks

There are more than a few good reasons why this duo of RPMWEST’s Quarter Century bags met its Kickstarter goal nearly six times over. For one, as the name suggests, each is guaranteed to last no fewer than 25 years. That’s because both the duffel and backpack are made in the United States using 12-ounce duck canvas, a tightly woven cotton commonly seen in shoes, painting canvases, and tents. Plus, these bags can go just about anywhere—tough enough for outdoor adventures, functional enough for the workplace, and well suited for travel and gym trips, too.

Both the duffel and backpack feature genuine leather accents, heavy-duty hardware, and adjustable shoulder straps. The duffel also has wide, sturdy handles; a 34-liter main compartment that packs in lots of gear; and a side pocket for storing those small essentials. On the 25-liter backpack, you’ll find side pockets, a webbing holder for larger items, and an easy-access laptop sleeve that loads from the top and from the side. The cushioned back panel keeps you comfortable, while the RFID-blocking pocket protects your passport, chipped cards, and other contactless devices from being accessed without your knowledge.
