Nice looking boots. Obernauf's LP does a great job at waterproofing, but it also darkens the leather a significant amount. I think it looks good, but if that's not your thing, beware.
The heel separates in the middle after a good bit of pretty normal use, which is extremely disappointing. It's not even the entire heel separates from the upper. The heel part of the sole will split in half. It can be repaired, but it doesn't look very good when it's been repaired.
Just do yourself a favor and get some Clarks. Better construction and a better sole.
These were way too big. I ordered one size smaller just to be safe -- Sebago is known to run large -- and they were still too big. I ended up wearing them with some thick Dr. Scholl's insoles for 6 months, then gave up. I now only buy shoes in person.
Overall a let down on the massdrop support team
I purchased these boots on the Bazaar drop. Assuming they were ready for dispatch. After not hearing from them for a month i contacted the support team, gave ample time to reply, still have not heard back from them.
Turns out the boots dispatched a while ago, I was not notified and now have to pay an additional customs fee. I have been kept completely in the dark on this order.
Communication on this order has been terrible.
BEWARE WHAT YOU BUY FRO mother fuckers at mass drop NO RETURNS FUCK YOU ASSHOLE
horrible boots are way way too big
I have been loving these boots for the last 8 months, but unfortunately, the sole material is fairly thin, and wears hard... I had to get the heel resoled already because the rubber on the heel started to break apart. The rest is going very strong and I feel it will last a while, but this is probably the shortest time I had to get a sole replaced in any of the boots I've ever had.
We’re happy to report that all of the orders have been shipped out!
Thanks again for the support guys. Make sure to share your experience with the Sebago Tremont Boots on Massdrop.

Guys,
I've extended the drop for another day because we can't place the order with the vendor until the weekend is over. The drop will now end tomorrow night.
This won't change the expected shipping date and will give more community members a chance to join the drop.
I am bummed they are made in China. I was hoping it was another great deal like the Orion belts.
Does anyone have any experience wearing these with orthotics for flat feet? I have very flat feet, and can't wear many shoes because of the lack of support, or non-removable soles (so I can't insert my orthotics).
Last time I got these on Massdrop they were $110.99 -_-
Are these good for winter?
Kailec
Water destroys these boots. So depends what you call a winter but here in New Zealand, no. Aside from that these boots are awesome! Just watch them around the girls because as I mentioned before, getting these badboys wet will destroy them. I paid $110 for mine last time which is pretty ruthless! :O

@ashkill If you want extra assurance against water/snow sludge, you can apply Sno-Seal to your boots.
Which one is the guy in the photo wearing?
mosiris
The model in the photo is wearing dark brown.
Are the dark brown really grey or is there something wrong with my eyes
AyeLapay
It is a very dark brown. I'll defer to the Sebago website for additional pictures: http://www.sebago.com/US/en-US/Product.mvc.aspx/22087M/68935/Mens/Tremont
Any idea if there is a men's size 15?
Lundrog
For this drop, we're offering sizes 7-13.
Lundrog
For the love of Yahweh, why do the good footwear drops NOT have sizes 14/15?! :-\
Are these soles actually leather or are they some other material made to look like leather? I know there is a vibram sole, just talking about the material between that and the upper, as seen in the heel.
Hey Guys,
All the boots have been shipped out. We are still waiting for the Sno-Seal for a few orders and will have that out to you as soon as we can.
Thanks for your patience.

How's the size compared to Red Wings?
Doesn't seem that special, have seen on amazon for $95
What's up with all these lovely shoes that ARE NOT available in EURO 47/US 14? :-\
dancho
I looked and can't find bigger in the official site either, personally I need a size fifteen and if massdrop could get bigger sizes that aren't available elsewhere it would be a no brainer. Outside this isn't much of a deal with not many sizes and more expensive than other outlets.
dancho
@dancho @warriorscot We appreciate the feedback and will forward it to @Danielle for future drops.
what pants is the model wearing
I grasp that its difficult to talk the mfg into cutting the price for a mass order, but i could get this shipped 120 off amazon today.

I think the more important factor is that Amazon offers free returns if the shoe is a poor fit. To me that's worth more than $10 considering how hit or miss shoe sizes tend to be.
In order for me to even consider the possibility of ordering shoes that are final sale from a brand I've never owned, they would have to carry a discount of at least 30% over any competing retailer. Based on experience with online ordering, that's roughly equivalent to the probability that they won't fit. If they don't fit, I'll have to choose between giving them away if I can find someone, reselling them at a loss, or letting them sit in the closet until I finally decide to throw them out.
I own a pair of these if anyone has any questions, they're the brown leather pair. If anyone wants to see pictures of how they look worn in let me know and I'll post some pictures!
Also, I recommend sizing down. by at least a half size I wear size 11 Nike Janoskis and size 11.5-12 boots usually and I wear a size 10.5 in these (which is extremely snug) so I'd recommend going a half size down from sneaker size and a full size down from boot size.
