eraseif you dont have really small wrist, buy orient ray 2 instead. i just received skx013 from creationwatches, i wish i would have gone for blue rays
Atomic-AntI have a SARB 033 and SARB 017 and they are the perfect fit for me, i can pull off some bigger watches as long as they are not bulky. What is it about the Skx013 that you aren't happy with ? Orient Ray II does look great.
Atomic-AntPeople always talk about "wrist size" but i find that its your forearms that define how a watch is going to look on you. I'm not a small guy by any means but my forearms and wrists are like average size. I personally dont go above 40mm and would rather have 38mm
ElPolloMy left wrist is slightly skinnier than my right wrist *forearms are the same*, 38mm not only looks more proportionate but also feels better on my right. I am no expert on watches, I am a designer though so the difference is very prominent to me when it might not be that noticeable to others.
eraseYou definitely have excellent taste. The reasoning is skx is a diver and even though the case size is 38mm, the dial is 36 or less (looks smaller, with the chapter ring and all). The ray 2 has a hackable, hand windable movement, I think you know know how important they are. If you were in uae I could have sold my skx013 to you :)
Atomic-AntThank you sir, I have worked for people that make 80 thousand $ iced out Rolex watches covered in diamonds and i feel that there are some sub 500$ watches that firstly look better and do not have diminishing return versus price. In my opinion even spending 3000$ on a watch is excessive when you can pick up a SARB for a fraction of that price, these lower tier Seikos are luxury in their own right.Sell it on ebay and get your Orient Ray, you wont be happy until you do :P
