As much as I hate these types of comments, I'll be that guy:
No Zealios, Clears, or Greens? Come on. If I'm spending over $120 on a group buy, I'd like an actual variety of switches, rather than the most common ones that I can get on a Pok3r for the same price.

LevelSteamyeah same here, if massdrop would provide this with zeals i would buy instantly. now I pass because I don't have the money anyways. with zeals or clears i would not even think about the money

LevelSteamNothing is stopping you from choosing no switches with this kit and sourcing whatever switch you want separately. This is already a large variety of switches. This is supposed to be a custom, and most buys for customs don't include switches.

eksuenYou're absolutely right. I probably would only save maybe $10 on switches here after the mark-up on them anyway.

rbacchiIts a DIY kit. You can buy Zeals from the actual OEM (zealpc) and its literally the same.

PrototypeNo its not the same. You have 2 orders. You will get 1 after the other and not all at once. if massdrop provides diy kits they should cover most of the options. on every second drop you see a comment about missing clears. and if they have them they cost +$30. how hard is it?

They already covered a lot of options, but as always, you can't please everybody. What if someone wants Greetech switches, or Kailh, or Outemu, or any other possible option? Adding more options creates unnecessary complexity and drives up costs for everyone. Just source the switches you want. How hard is it?

rbacchiIf we provided MX Clears they would cost twice what you'd pay elsewhere, and then the complaint would be 'why are these so expensive??'.
We try to provide as many options as we can while still offering a reasonable price, and that simply was not possible with MX Clears and Zealios.
