Are any of these lenses the "drivers lens" as shown on the Serengeti website? The website shows 4 lenses options; Drivers, 555nm, 555nm blue, and Sedona
The Sedona are designed I think for a brighter environment, and the brown is the regular "driver" lens. You'll be happy with both, but the tinting will be different.
I use a pair of brown photochromic ones for everyday driving, and have some sedonas for when I'm going to the beach or during summer activities like a sunny bbq or an outside concert. I hate the sun, so I use the sedonas a bit more often.
I have a pamphlet with the brightness rating somewhere, I'll post it later today as a reply.
so quick short review. i will say these have awesome lenses. and the build quality overall is very nice. but the lenses are awesome and just crystal clear. i wish they were a tiny bit darker normally and that the rose color wasnt quite as noticeable but overall they are of the highest quality lenses i own like oakley, maui, etc etc. the overall width of the frames is actually perfect from arm to arm any smaller and they would be a but tight but because of the lens shape and without having almost any curve at all to the front just makes them look HUGE on my face. the medium lens size would have been a much better look on me but im afraid the arms would have been to tight since these fit perfectly on the temples. these were def worth the money quality wise though. ill def be looking at other serengetti glasses now.
mastershakeUnfortunately medium would not have been quite wide enough. Oh well, this is one of those things that reminds me not to buy things on Massdrop that require sizing since there is no exchange or return policy.
A certain major online retail website named after a large rainforest in South America has 5 pairs of the 135mm polarized Sedona left in stock. Came out to $72.56 after tax w/free 2 day shipping. You can have a pair in your hands before this drop even ends.
