This whole it's "just wood" commentary is absurd and shows an abysmal level of ignorance. This is work that you are incapable of making yourself and the price reflects the originality and quality of the piece. Bunch of children crying for $15 headphone stands. Want a stand for $15? Go to Home Depot, buy a few boards, and then make a piece of s^&$ stand that only your senile grandma would appreciate. Want quality that you don't have the talent to make? Start by showing some respect to the people who are able.

You haven't looked very hard. It's FAR from original, hence the complaints about the price. There are ones virtually the same as this for $40 around the place. And acrylic versions at $30.
