Didn't expect my screen to be scratched out of box, or one battery to arrive at 2.5 volts, or repeatedly get a "DRY COIL NO LIQUID" from both nickel coils I have for my Delta II tank... but at least I have power mode =/

Thanks! Look forward to pick up one of the last vaping drops. It truly is unfortunate but you all have your reasons.

Good news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 9/15. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 9/16 or sooner if something comes up.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the SIGELEI 150 TC and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 9/15.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 9/8.

What's up with the vaping category being removed? It was literally the only reason that my friends and I signed up for Massdrop. This saddens me

Temperature control only works with TC coils. Temperature control works (for basically any system on the market) by measuring changes in resistance rather than actual temperature. Kanthal is made to have as similar a resistance as possible no matter the temperature. TC requires nickel (ni200) or in some cases titanium. Since the resistance change over temperature has to be known, ni200 and titanium need to have support for it to work. AFAIK this device does not support titanium, so it's nickel only. If you buy or make nickel coils, you're golden, otherwise, it's your regular variable voltage/variable wattage. When making nickel coils, do note that the resistance is a lot lower overall, so if you're used to wrapping say a 0.5 or 0.6 ohm coil, you'll have to reacquaint yourself with wrapping preferences. Often nickel coils don't go over 0.2, rarely 0.3. This is safe, because you got the temperature control to dial it back once it gets hot enough. Do NOT think that this makes it fine to wrap a 0.08 ohm kanthal coil, it will wreck you. Ohms that low should be TC only.

Yea it'll work fine except you won't be able to use the temp control feature you will just have to control the wattage

So I'm buying this for sure, but will the TC work with something say the Freemax Starre tank that doesn't have TC coils? Or does it matter? Explain plox lol
