Are these related to Yuin PK1? They look quite similar, but these are even more expensive.

HelloFoobarThey're nothing related to PK1, they sound more better on bass, sound stage and clarity. And it's easy to drive compare to PK1, impendence is 16Ohm in 2.5TRRS, 32Ohm with adapter to 3.5SE.

HelloFoobarThey use the same earpiece shell as the Yuin PK series. There are many earbud makers in Asia (such as Simphonio) that take a generic off-the-shelf earpiece shell and assemble it with their own drivers and cables. The two commonly used earpiece shells are the Yuin PK style or the slightly larger MX500 style (originally a budget Sennheiser earbud). For example, Venture Electronics (maker of Monk and Zen) use the MX500 shell. On AliExpress there are a large number of earbuds available that range from a few dollars to hundreds, and many look the same because they are use the same cheap plastic earpiece shells.
I prefer earbuds over IEMs for comfort and open sound, and I'm willing to pay a premium for high performance. However, look and feel does matter to me as a consumer, and I can't bring myself to spend this much on one that looks so generic.

MetroThere is an advantage to looking generic, they won't get you targeted while wearing them.
I remember when having apple buds in public basically put you in risk on college campuses.
