Product Description
Crafted in the ratchet-belt style—originally used in the Russian military—the SlideBelt doesn’t come cut with any holes, which means one size fits all. With traditional belts, every time you pull them closed the holes are put under serious strain, which can lead to cracking and discoloration in the leather Read More

Mostly PVC belts. Belts are made w leather to last longer. Not everyone is vegetarian. Why so limit the options to mostly PVC belts?
chew.isaacI wish the white came in non-leather. That is the one color I am most interested in! But hey, if you are so bothered by the choices, vote with your wallet. Sorry that vegetarianism offends you so deeply.

How about a drop on the SlideBelt survivor series

I picked up one of the black 'full grain' leather SlideBelts the last drop they did, and I absoulutely love the functionality of the buckle. So far it has just worked perfectly.
The thing I don't like is the quality of the belt leather itself. It feels like that's where they're cutting back cost to keep their price competitive. The leather on my belt is wrapped in some black material, I guess to cut the cost of actually dying the leather. As the belt ages it's going to get uglier and uglier, unlike a good quality belt that's dyed properly. And I really can't tell that it's full grain. If feels cheap. You can find similar quality, if not better at Walmart. Pretty big let down on that end. Personally, I would be willing to pay decent money for an option to get a real quality bridal leather that will last forever and age beautifully with the awesome SlideBelt buckle. Just the option would be nice.
Again, I love the buckle though. It pretty much makes up for the dissapointment in the leather. If I buy another one I'll probably go with one of their cheaper animal friendly belts because I can't imagine the material being worse than the full grain leather option, might even be better.

williams_shane_ahttps://ansonbelt.com Haven't actually had the pleasure of trying them but I'm intending to get these as soon as I have some spare cash to spend on belts, these pop everywhere and the reviews are pretty good.
williams_shane_aHey Williams_shane_a, our leathers are usually pretty good quality, expecially our Full Grain. We dont cover these leathers with any coating, that would be our Genuine Leather, that has a colored polyurathane coat. Our Top Grain and Full Grain Leathers are dyed using vegetables. If you in fact have that Full Grain Leather and you are not happy, please email our support team so we can see how we can get you a combination you will love. Please feel free to email us at Support@slidebelts.com for any questions or concerns about this combination.

No leather option for the two most common belt colors in the world, black and brown. That makes no sense. I am not interested in a plastic belt. The buckles do look nice though.

MerckHello @Merck, you are correct, this drop does not have any leather options. We do carry a full line on our site and if you ask the support team nicely, I am sure that they will help you out with acquiring one.

Interesting that they are called “animal friendly” when made with PVC, which requires lots of oil to produce, polluting the planet more than a cow would and degrading the quality of life of all beings on the planet. Just food for thought...
(Edited)
BaccaBossMCActually cows produce methane which pollutes the atmosphere. As well as feed lot runoff which pollutes nearby water and causes nitrogen bloom and oxygen deprivation. But really, why are you so bothered that some people don't want to wear leather. Different people have different lifestyles and interests.

Calaverasgrandeso cow farts are hurting the atmosphere? You gotta love that that AOC, she’s just so amazingly courageous and smart, wouldn’t you say? The real question is Why are you so bothered that they don’t want “ vegan “ accessories? To take the time and reply to more then one person about the same issue, pretty much shows your just as bothered. Plus, your not changing anyone’s opinion so are you just doing this to make your self feel better to justify making the purchase.

What is the width?

7loweI purchased one of these months ago and the width on mine is 1 3/16" (one and three sixteenths inches).
The functionality and quality of these is really quite good. They look nice and hold securely, but if you want to give yourself a bit more breathing room while sitting behind your desk, that's done easily as well with no fussing or fumbling.
The price seems good, but I do note that the vast majority of choices offered in this drop are for the faux leather (okay, "animal friendly") variants. I purchased mine in a high grade black leather. It's certainly not outrageous to surmise that this drop might be part of an effort to move some of their less popular inventory. All in all though, I've been very happy with my purchase.
7loweHey 7lowe, all of our standard belts (Animal-Friendly, Genuine, Top Grain, and Full Grain) are all a width of 1.25". We do have a Skinny Belt that is a width of about .9" and our Survival Belt is a bit wider at 1.5" You can get more info on our website slidebelts.com.
