The vendor has informed us that fulfillment has taken slightly longer than originally expected due to a minor delay in production. Rather than wait for the units to travel cross country to the vendor’s location for shipment, we’ve made accommodations to allow for everything to ship through our warehouse in New Jersey near the supplier’s location. disgusts me how easily people throw their money away. $35 for this crap medical kit? Come on guys... The small bag looks like junk. jesus christ. better off using a fucking plastic bag and spending $35 for all the supplies individually.
Pharmacist here: The drug selection in this is pretty good. Loperamide is a must have to treat diarrhea. I would add some Meclizine for vertigo/nausea, a tube of glucose tablets for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), bacitracin/zinc ointment instead of the triple antibiotic ointment (neomycin can actually prevent wound healing in some people), and some hydrocortisone ointment. I would also double the amount of Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Ranitidine (Zantac) is handy for heartburn/dyspepsia, or Tums/Rolaids would work too. Anything beyond that would require a prescription. If you use this, be aware of where you store it. Medications degrade faster in hot areas so if you keep it in your car I would recommend annual medication replacement.
Non-Drugs that are always handy to have would be sunscreen, bug spray, & wet wipes.

This is exactly what the masses need on here, a reliable and educated source.. I have a Go Bag put together and I'm constantly fiddling with my medical supplies and trauma kit. Not having the background you do and weighing the precious space versus what is truly needed in the field has me reorganizing and prioritizing too frequently. The ammo and tactical supplies are squared away, but input like you just gave could be a Godsend in the isolated field. Thanks for that. Maybe you could expand on your opinion somewhere to help others piece together their own or add to these prefabricated kits. Cheers.

I flip-flop regularly when I see pre-packaged medical kits, here and through other sites, between buying one and making my own. At this point, the only real factor keeping me from making my own is conveniece - I imagine more than a few people are in this boat as well.
I've owned a couple of kits from Adventure and they have sat in my pack until I lose them or buy another. They're nice kits, but at this point, it's been a waste of money for me.
I would think this is fine for general travel or light wound care. Granted, I'm not a medical technician but I've been in a few situations where I can speak from experience. Most of the time, I need band-aids or steri-strips, and this kit fits the bill. But, if you're like me, stuffing a handful of bandages into a plastic bag and calling it day will most likely be enough. Though the peace of mind, knowing you have more if need be, might be worth the price to others.

I'd say make your own. Most of the pre-made first aid kits lack substantial large bandages/pads for serious wounds.
Curious to hear emt opinion of product - most first aid kits are just a ton of bandages and this seems to have a bunch more stuff which is nice.

+1 not having a clotting agent (something like Celox would be fantastic but also increase the cost of the product considerably). Also, 1 pair of gloves? The list for that being a poor choice is endless.

No fluids, so the volume limit isn't an issue. Tweezers and safety pins are allowed. None of the contents appear to be volatile or controlled substances. The biohazard sticker might raise some eyebrows, but it's obviously for when you throw away the used contents of the kit. I'd pack this in my carry-on without a second thought.
