SoundMAGIC HP100 Headphones
SoundMAGIC HP100 Headphones
Started From the Bottom
When SoundMAGIC released the HP100, nobody really noticed. It flew under the radar for a few months but when people started writing reviews, it blew up. Five star reviews kept rolling in from Head-Fi members and the HP100 quickly took it's place among the best headphones south of $200. Its overnight transition from underdog to defending champion caught the attention of many and now's your chance to get it at the best price ever available.
Now We Here
Now that the HP100's are on top, it's easy to see the review trends and isolate its best features. There isn't a single thing this headphone pushes forward. Bass, mids and treble are all equally presented. The HP100 is clean sounding headphone, it is analytical, detailed and very transparent. Mids are especially impressive on acoustic tracks like "Losing Keys" by Jack Johnson and the HP100's punchy bass is very apparent on "Through the Loop" by Pendulum. Its soundstage is impressively wide and revealing for closed headphones, let alone closed headphones under $200.
