I'm enjoying this. I started it off in the feild on commercial construction sites banging it around pretty well so I know the movement is tough. Always gets complents in casual environments as well which I didn't expect considering the pre-worn look.

This is my first review on mass drop. I wish it was a positive review. I really liked the look of the watch and it seemed to be decent quality for the price point. Unfortunately my spinnaker watch didn’t last more than 3 days on my wrist before the movement failed. I had to send it to their repair company and pay more than half of the cost of the watch to get it repaired. The movement is covered under warranty but apparently to replace and repair the movement they need to replace the crown, stem, and tube which is not covered. My watch has been waiting for parts for several weeks now and I have recieved 2 emails telling me there is no estimated time for repair. I find it odd that massdrop could not help me resolve the issue but they can get more watches?? I also find it ironic that the repair company cannot tell when or if they can repair my watch (even though I paid for the repairs weeks ago) but I can easily buy a new watch...which is made from the parts I need... Very disappointed in both massdrop and spinnaker. Buyer beware....

ScavileeI just wanted to drop an update on this in case anyone out there is looking at purchasing this watch... DON'T DO IT!!! It has been over 2 months now and my watch is STILL at the repair center (just spoke to them). They have NO IDEA when the new parts needed will arrive. So basically my watch is in limbo. I find it strange that I can buy a new one and have it on my wrist In less than 48 hours, but it is utterly impossible to repair my existing watch with the EXACT SAME PARTS NEEDED TO MAKE IT??? HEY MASSDROP!!! - MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP HAWKING THIS HUNK OF JUNK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS OR AT LEAST REACH OUT TO YOUR CUSTOMER (ME) TO HELP GET THIS RESOLVED PROPERLY!!! POOR FORM!!! If anyone still decides to buy this watch after reading this...you have been warned....

Be warned. My rotor broke within two months. Sent back for $30 service charge and upon inspection they said it had water damage, would not be covered by warranty, and wanted another $140 to fix everything. All of this is totaling more than I paid for the watch to begin with, and the water damage is asinine, because I only wore it to my work in an office for two months (I wear a Garmin for anything physical and never take a watch into the shower or pool). I will never own another Spinnaker.

OK. So here it is: The watch is great, I love the look of the watch and it keeps good time. The downside however is the noise. The self winding mechanism is loud. Also, it doesn’t work in a watch winder. I’ve tried it on every setting on the winder and nothing. The winder is pretty good and seems to work well with every other automatic watch I own, so it is hard to fault the winder. This does not hinder the operation when I wear it. As soon as it’s on my wrist, it starts moving and stays moving until it sits for awhile. I never wear it long enough to get a good reserve because I have a pretty good collection of watches and change them often. Overall pretty satisfied.

GolfzacharySame issue with my Spinnaker Spence. It makes a loud grating sound and also doesn’t work with my winder. Also, frustrated with the customer service - they’re not helpful (at one point, I was sent to Invicta customer service - which says something...). This review is much nicer than I would have put it. I’m pretty unhappy with my overall purchase and experience.

GolfzacharyMy watch arrived with a broken rotor as well. Had to send it out for repair. Spinnaker was helping out every step of the way. They covered the full cost of repair. It's a shame this is an issue with these watches. I'm happy with it now that it's working. Lol

I work in an industrial environment and put this watch through some incredible abuse. The band, while still intact, looks like hell and is nowhere near its original color (I got the brass watch with the bright green band). I just replaced it with a silicone band that holds up to my job a little better. The black distressing on the watch has also worn away, leaving a straight brass finish and so, oddly, the watch looks newer and shinier now than when I first got it.
Besides those two aesthetic points, this thing's a champ.

NinjaQuailI have the same watch combo and noticed my green band is looking rather sorry too. Received lots of compliments on the band when it was new.

I did not like this watch. The band is not only flimsy and going to break almost immediately as many other reviews apparently mention; it was also very, very uncomfortable for me. I switched bands because the original one was just not attractive-- and now I actually enjoy wearing this watch.
