Spyderco’s once-retired Aqua Salt is back by popular demand. A longtime favorite of fishermen, mariners, and special-ops servicemen, this fixed-blade knife is 100-percent rustproof and features the same hollow-ground blade as the original. And while it’s still made of supertough H-1 steel—a nitrogen-based alloy resistant to corrosion—the drop-point blade now features a non-reflective titanium carbonitride coating.
Note: At checkout, you can choose between a plain edge blade or a fully serrated blade. Due to additional scrutiny and increased seizures at Customs this drop will be limited to members within the US.
Made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon, the handle is injection molded onto the tang for added strength. And where grip and control are concerned, the Aqua Salt is equipped with Spyderco’s patented Bi-Directional Texturing, which is especially helpful in wet conditions. When the knife is not in use, the injection-molded polymer sheath—with its multiposition G-Clip and grommet—allows the knife to be carried on a belt, on a waistband, or tied to equipment.
