Why does massdrop even bother with Spyderco anymore? Now don't get me wrong I love Spderco knives, have plenty of them and I'll buy more but the MAP pricing policy eliminates the entire reason you would buy from a site like this! The entire point of a group buy is to get a lower price then elsewhere but this is the same price you get everywhere else!

ThermalAdvancementFor Canadian and - based on comments I have read - other foreign buyers, Massdrop is actually one of the best sources, since many other online shops charge incredibly gouging shipping fees when shipping knives to foreign countries. Massdrop's using Ascendia as their shipping partner, and - in my personal experience - that company has very reasonable fees compared to UPS 🤮 and FedEx 🤮. I think buyers in the United States have to stop thinking that if it's not compelling for them, it's not going to be interesting at all. Not everything is about you USA guys and gals; the world is Massdrop's market, and their Spyderco offerings can actually be very compelling for scores of foreign buyers! 😎

SteveMidwestThe blue boxes are also usually pretty good, except that one Para box that could upgrade you to a police.

ThermalAdvancementThey used to be able to save you $20 by opting out of a soft case. I haven’t seen that offer in a while.

BobrazThis! MD shipping to Germany does work great - Massdrop gets the paperwork correct so I don‘t have to go to the customs office and shipping costs are reasonable. Saving a significant amount of money compared to buying Spyderco knives locally.

Bobraz100% correct. I’m in Australia. Most U.S knife retailers charge between $17-$50 USD for shipping. Massdrop charges me $2.50-$8. A big saving especially when you convert to our Aussie currency. Good on you massdrop for the amazing shipping rates.
