The Sturmanskie Space Pioneer is an ode to the Voskhod 1: the seventh manned Soviet space flight that launched in 1964. A pioneer in many ways (it was the first to carry multiple people into orbit and the first to reach an altitude of 209 miles), the spacecraft plays the starring role on this watch with an engraved depiction on the caseback. The stainless steel case houses a Vostok 2416 movement of 31 jewels. It offers manual-wind compatibility and a power reserve of 31 hours. The dial, available in three colors, has large Arabic numerals and straight, pointed hands, all of which are lumed for visibility. And while the watch may honor space flight, it’s water resistant to 100 meters, so you won’t have to worry about taking it for a swim.
Note: At checkout, choose between the 2416/2345336 (brown dial, brown leather strap), 2416/2345337 (beige dial, black leather strap), and 2416/2345338 (gray dial, black leather strap). Each model is limited to 10 units.
