How would these work plugged in to a turntable? I just moved my Pro-ject Debut out of my living room with a Klipsch setup and need some replacement speakers.
The turntable doesnt see much use so price/performance is a concern.
Thanks!

eibesDefinitely, but only if you're using a phono preamp. I have a set plugged into an ART Pre II and Orbit Plus turntable and they sound fantastic.

eibesI have these plugged into a U-Turn orbit custom, with built-in pre-amp (Bluto). They perform adequately, but realize standalone speakers + amp will get way better quality.
That being said, I am very happy using these for music, and they fill my living room with warm, rich sound. Note that the bass is the weak point of these speakers, but unless you drop $400 or more, they're the best performers for powered speakers up to that point (from my experience).
I've owned them for about two years now, and they've performed better than my previous Logitech z10s and better than a 2.1 Bose setup I tried out for a while. I also had the chance to use some A5 speakers with the turntable, and honestly, the sound is pretty similar (just a bit more bass from the A5s, not worth the additional $200-$300).
Note that I am not an audiophile, I'm just a guy who likes good rich tones in digital or vinyl music.
