No moving parts, meaning it's not gonna fail as easily as some other quick releases. Some review say it's too small, I find it the a pretty good size, I feel like a larger one would make my key chain look more messy. With my fingers I can easily access the tabs to detach then, but I do think people with thick fingers or wearing gloves will have more trouble using it.
i got tired of clipping and unclipping my car/house keys inside of my day bag. Adding this little guy speeds up the process while adding virtually no bulk to my keychain or bag. Definitely recommended.
Initially, I felt this was too small. It is not. Then I soon after buying this also bought a new car with a push button start and I thought I would not use it with my fob. I did though.
It is made out of a material that is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel as well as strong and very light weight. I thought it would be difficult to detach but it's not. In other words at first I thought meh, I screwed up. I realized quickly that I did not. I have used a standard cheapo quick release unit for years and like them so this was "right up my alley", the price gave me pause for sure and were it not for the fact that I plan to use this for many years it would not make sense to me. As such, I would recommend this to somebody who really likes this type device and would use it long enough to justify what I still consider to be a high price.
Really nice clip, as youd expect for the price. Probably something to do with it being machined titanium in all. Definitely a good product, but terrible value for the money all things considered...
The only feature of this clip is the quick release. In order to releaese it, one should apply quite a large force over the 2 buttons, almost impossible to release it, it hurts the fingers, it doesn't go easy. Bottom line -poorly designed.
Never releases when I don't want it to. Lightweight and not bulky. Only issue is it can sometimes be challenging to get it to release, especially if you've just clipped your nails short.
The key on my key chain using this release kept detaching in my pocket. I tried to find out why and discovered it released when twisted. This didn't meet my expectations. I thought it would stay secure unless I pinched the opening.
I bough this because it was compact, lightweight, and relatively short in length as these things go. I use it to attach my car key, as there were frequent times when I didn't need it, but needed to bring the other keys.
It looks great and hasn't scratched, but it has not been 100% reliable. I've had a handful of times when my car key has spontaneously detached from the rest of my keyring. It seems to be more reliable if I occasionally force the prongs wider to make them latch better.
