Are these lenses using essentially the same concept as blublockers? (As seen on TV!)

The lens height is extreme and the width somewhat narrow. So you would need a long, narrow face to make these work. Though every time I search for opinions and photos, it is mostly women. The RAEN Wiley are 43mm and that is max for me. Nice looking glasses though

These look pretty nice for the price, but I rarely find sunglasses that can actually fit my head. Can anyone comment on the size of these?
