What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. My SpaceFN article on kbd.news made some rounds recently - quite surprisingly given the age of this concept. This piece you're reading is a condensed version of the full post. If you're left with unanswered questions, you'll most likely find the info you're looking for in the original write-up. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? In short: SpaceFN is easy to implement, easy to learn, costs nothing, can be used with any keyboard, and can improve your productivity instantly. I will list its benefits below, but can state right at this point that the SpaceFN concept, setting up your space key as a layer switch when held, is clearly one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby....

For anyone who might want to know dimensions and weight on the parcel: Dimensions: 6x4x1 in. Weight: 0.7 lbs / 0.32 kgs Shipping via FedEx SmartPost.
Sounds like the keys might be loose in a container similar to the ones that Tai-Hao ships their miami and sunshine sets in. (Tai-Hao's containers look like this: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/tai-hao-miami-keycap-set/talk/1598526 )
Edit: might be, not will be. I'm speculating.
This set deserves better packaging. I just figured it would come in something somewhat respectable.
Now I feel like bulk chocolate at the store.
SP has no excuse for not incorporating something into their system like that. Especially in 2017.
Sorry but I'm pissed.
Today I received my first spinning top made out of copper that material cost $5 (not being serious folks just being you know what) and untold machine time hours, labor etc. I paid $70 something. It came in a small metal tin full of padding in a box full of padding. It's one item which I love and can't stop playing with! They can easily come up with a solution that would be an additional charge for these caps from here on out at SP or MD. <<<<
Even some cheap cap sets I bought came with trays, like WTF?
I love these caps on looks alone and I am thankful they were made by someone with love, I even loved your Metro set. I would want your set in a tray or even some padded foam in a box using just compression. But not loose and in contact with one another, especially with not rounded or smoothed , buffed edges.
We all have opinions but this one appears to be an opinion that should be a part of a companies appearance and motto maybe: "We deliver caps of exceptional build and quality in a case representative of that." not here's a box, like a BigMac from McD's.
*(I am only referring to the one off sets and maybe some duplicate runs but not their actual commercial level business products that SP offers)
Thanks for the info and link.
SP has plenty of other business issues to address. This one is probably pretty low on the list.
