In 2015, Katja Marek came up with an idea for a Millefiore Quilt-Along. It was a 12-month program to create a finished quilt measuring approximately 78 inches by 78 inches. The resulting quilt—made up of 15 full and partial rosettes taken directly from her book, The New Hexagon—was a huge success. Now, after making a few modifications to some of the blocks, Katja has re-introduced the Millefiore Quilt-Along for a new crop of quilters.

Note: The base price for this drop includes rosette packs 1 through 12, which includes 633 paper pieces. At checkout, you’ll have the option of adding the 32-piece template set (+ $84), rosettes #2 through #5 (+ $37), rosette #6 (+ $6), and New Hexagon Book by Katja Marek (+ $20).

What You’ll Need to Produce the Quilt

The base for this bundle includes rosette packs 1 through 12, complete with all 633 paper pieces needed to make the original quilt. In order to complete the quilt, you’ll need the 32-piece acrylic fabric-cutting templates and The New Hexagon book, both of which we’ve offered in the past, which is why we’re featuring these as add-ons. But the new version of the quilt also requires that you have 13 new fabric-cutting templates for rosettes 2 through 6. We’ve included these as add-ons as well.
