Minimalist except for the price lmao

How much was it going for?
Is the money clip 45.00 more for the wallet
Can I buy the burnt titanium option?
The listed Titanium options don't appear in the selection when joining the drop. Is this an error or are they not available (internationally)?
On year 3 of my silver ridge wallet w/cash-strap, elastic is a little bit worn but still holding strong. Still looks good all around!

I opted for the Money Clip version because a few reviews stated the strap wears out over time. I was ready to order a Trayvex but the model I liked won't hold over 7 Cards.... I'm hopeful The Ridge Wallet works well. The $ 50 dollar price is good compared to the $ 72.00 prices I see elsewhere... Am I missing something ? Is it the same ?
I got one during the Kickstarter and it still works just fine. The elastic is only slightly looser, and I used to have it packed full sometimes. The money clip is a little annoying, but it serves it's purpose well.
why isnt there option for gold with cash strap?
Does anyone out there have any idea what screws these are so I can replace them myself? Instead of having to wait a month for them? Thank you.

I believe the screws are called torx screws.
I have the Carbon fiber version of this. I love it and I would/have recommended it to others around me.
I came from a Raw wallet and transitioned to this and front carrying and it doesn't bother me one bit. In fact, I like that its slightly heavier than my Raw because I would have mini heart attacks when I couldn't feel it in my pocket due to its weight, this rid me of that issue.
Also, you can take it apart and remove the cash strap or money clip (I did, because I never carry/deal with cash) this also makes the profile slightly smaller as well.
Cash strap OR money clip? Not both?
Slightly disappointed as this was marketed as a minimalist / thin wallet. I removed cards from what I carry and it is just as thick as my previous wallet. The money clip is nice, but that's hardly innovative. It's definitely sturdy, but the thickness has me wanting a different wallet. Each wall that the elastic uses to sandwich your cards is about 3 cards thick.

I never understood why anyone would enjoy putting a wallet in their back pocket. Aside from it being insanely easy to pickpocket (which I've never been concerned about other than when I'm in a major city), it's insanely uncomfortable to sit, it's legitimately very bad for your back/spine, and it's a pain in the ass (I wish I could say literally, but I wouldn't go that far, haha) to reach for it and also who wants to be in public digging around in their ass for a wallet. It's just bad form, IMO, and I'm not one to be overly concerned with what's good/bad form in public. But I don't scratch my ass in public, that's for sure.

Remember Seinfeld, the episode when George had a massive wallet. That's what back pocket wallets remind me of.
Bought the black aluminum wallet about a year ago. Wallet is sturdy and holding together well. There is some wear on the elastic strap from holding 15 cards consistently, but nothing severe. Keys will scratch the paint, so keep them in separate pickets if that worries you.
Ridge wallets are a joke I have the carbon fiber wallet and after 2 months the carbon fiber chipped which they say is not covered under their lifetime warranty. While I do like the wallet after spending $115 I definitely over paid.
We most definitely got owned on this order. I found the same wallets on Ali Express for a fraction of the cost. I will always be checking there first in the future.

Ali Express???? wow I guess you buy Chinese knock offs routinely ? Try DHgate too if that's what you're into.
damn I missed this. can someone let me know how much the wallets were sold for on here ? thanks

With a little bit of searching you could have found that out. I just searched because I just bought one off of their website. The price here was 47.99 for the aluminum. You can get 15% off on the Ridge website and pay a little over $90 for the Carbon Fiber through the site so I don't really feel like I missed out on this drop. (I realize you posted this a while ago but figured I'd reply in case anyone else comes looking)
Fair warning to anyone getting the Titanium version - only the thin outer piece of metal is titanium, the rest is aluminum.
I've had the aluminium gunmetal with the moneyclip for almost 2 years now. Can definitely recommend, it's held up remarkably well.
I purchased one of these on a previous massdrop back before minimalist wallets were available everywhere for cheaper. I like it and get lots of compliments, but I probably wouldn't purchase another. The outer faces are metal, but the metal is very thin and screwed to a core of plastic. I originally thought it was all metal. No big deal; it probably saves on weight. My biggest gripe about these are the screws. There's 7 per side and my wallet is currently missing two. Of course, they'll sell you replacement screws at $7 a set, but it seems painfully obvious that if the company sells additional screws, they know there's a problem. They come with a little bit of loc-tite on them, but I honestly just think that screwing into plastic with fine-thread screws is just a poor design.
I'm trying to give these to my groomsmen, but I want to send them out to be laser etched, which one would be best? Has anyone done this?
Tbrown52
Aluminum is best for laser etching and you can get that done, as well as engraving, at Things Remembered
I've purchased five of these wallets now; two through MD. They're great, though the one carbon fiber model I got has outer plates that don't quite match the shape of the inner plates. The aluminum models have been flawless so far though.
Purchased this wallet in the last drop and I would say it's a great pick up if you want to minimize what you carry in your wallet. The build is solid (I went for the gunmetal aluminum one with the money clip). My only gripe about this wallet is that it can feel a little uncomfortable in the pocket of your jeans if you wear a lot of skinny jeans (I keep it in the front left pocket).
Fiddlesticks, I was hoping for the Orange Poly
Purchased 1 & received it earlier than expected. So far I love it, so much easier to carry around than my giant , bulky leather wallet. Purchased mine w/ a $$ clip & thought it might be obtrusive in my front pocket, boy was I wrong it's perfect! Thanks Massdrop
anyone have any idea on when they will do another drop on the ridge wallet? I know this just ended but just curious on how long till they run another
chrisw169
FYI, it's back!
Just got shipping confirmation 15 days before estimated ship date!! woot
Is there an option to add both the money clip and the cash strap?
Where is the blue wallet?
If you buy from Massdrop, do you still get the lifetime warranty these things have if you buy directly from Ridge?

I purchased the gunmetal version of this wallet in September 2017 (4 months ago) for $65, and the finish is already wearing off. It is gradually turning white. Customer service says it is expected and not covered under the warranty. Save yourself a ton of money and buy a cheaper version on Amazon. A buddy of mine got basically the same wallet for less than $20.

Color fading is expecting and I'm okay with that. But I was just wondering about dents and bends.
I purchased this on the last drop.
Very highly recommended, if you carry few cards around.
I love it.

I fit 8-10 cards at any given time though. What do you mean by "few cards"?
Bendi
Iv had a ridge wallet for a couple years and I sure stuff the sucker full. I like it because it fits a lot of cards while also fitting in my front pocket. Iv got 8 cards in it now but I think 12 is pretty much max.
I've been using this wallet daily for almost two years. Best minimalist wallet I've ever used. Two downsides are that the elastic band is pilling and the black inside is rubbing off. The pilling doesn't bother me as much as the black inside making my ID/CCs dirty. I'm constantly having to clean my ID off. Any suggestions on how to stop this from happening besides buying a new one?
