Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?

Sound wise, there is definitely some added base, but it's pleasant sounding (I'm not a basshead by any means) and gives body to the music. I'd say a bit more than my M40X but definitely less than my K7XX, which are kings of soundstage anyway. Overall my initial ~15 minute impression is that these were a great purchase!
