Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. But I think with a low/midrange amp and decent headphones, it wouldn't be possible for my ears to hear a difference between the D10 and D50. My source is Tidal over USB mainly, some SACDs from my Oppo CD transport. I would drive the D10 from a really clean USB power source.
Should I spend the extra 175 bucks and the D50? I have my doubts.
I also have a Sabaj DA3. which is a portable DAC/amp. I wonder if it would be a 'good enough' DAC when set to a proper volume to the amp it was plugged in to?
As you see there, it does well so I don't see why you can't use it as a DAC.
