Dolorous_EddI'm interested in both the Schiit setup as well as this and will be powering the K7XX's as well. Any insight anyone has into the pros/cons of them in comparison to each other would be very much appreciated!

Schiit 2 uber > Topping D30/A30 >/= Schiit 2
You pay more for the Schiit 2 uber or multibit with slight better sound, but you can change the opamp on the topping to your liking.

If you like the tube sound, it might be of consideration.

Dolorous_EddI'm wondering if you decided on what AMP to get for the K7XX. I bought the AKG only to find out later that it is one of the harder to drive headphones due to its low sensitivity. I'm a little worried that the A30 won't be able to drive them.

I was looking for a desktop amp to replace my Fiio Q1, which seems to do fine, so it hasn't been a priority.

Also, are the RCA outs on the amplifier controlled by the volume knob?
Trying to decide between this and the Magni/Modi Uber, but I'm leaning toward the Schiit for size and aesthetics despite a bit more cost. I'll be powering AKG K7XX, and using the RCA outs for a pair of JBL LSR305s. It doesn't seem like it would be worth it for the step up to balanced output for the LSRs.
