Btgr222Thx, already searched choices. PA3 till stands out from the crowd. Getting a Little Dot DAC1 to pair with my MKIII instead of the D30, now still searching for a PA3 type amp. Might up the budget for this too. Once you're out of the Massdrop confines, so many choices open up.

AnarchyAelleI had the MKIII previously with a JDS Odac and looked at getting the Dac1 but decided not to because the USB bitrate was limited to 16 bit/48 kHz only. Also the Voshkod tubes are awesome with that amp.
