Got the message my order was cancelled due to the units on backorder. Got a refund and a coupon. A bit disappointed, I've been waiting for a while with the LCX collecting dust without a DAC. Any other alternatives to this unit? Ive been reading about emotiva dc-1, but I think they're discontinued, I can't seem to find any either.

Spaceman1200DC-2 came up while I was looking for the DC-1, mentioned for March 2018 ish? Zero announcements from emotiva otherwise. Hope it does come out soon and they haven't cancelled it. Fingers crossed.

Spaceman1200I also entertained Audio-GD, but their balanced DACs are pricier, would have made sense with the all in one unit NFB-29, but now that I already invested into the LCX, it wouldn't make sense to have another amp... Sigh

jammuuI am curious, what coupon did you get? I asked them to cancel my order when it was announced as delayed a few days ago, but with the international bank transfer fees and €/$ change rate variation I lost money on that refund...

posposThat's awful man, maybe they can make up the difference in exchange rate for you. They provided me with a $20 gift card applicable to any future purchase within 1 year from today as compensation for the drop not happening. They cancelled my order and refunded me without me cancelling it myself.
