Drop Mech Keys Meetup Recap - Thanks for Visiting!
As you may have seen, we just hosted our first meetup in quite a while here at Drop HQ (Corsair HQ, but they seem to like us enough :) )! It was a blast to get to meet so many enthusiasts local to the bay area—it had been 10 years since I was last hanging out with keyboard nerds in the bay, at KeyCon 2014. We had a great time hosting everyone at the offices, checking out all the very nice boards y'all brought, and sharing some of our own projects/spaces! I knew it would be fun to host in the Game Room when I first saw it in person, but seeing it come to fruition was still so cool. Alright, I'll stop blabbering on now. xD Picture time! (Oh, real quick - there will be more of these! Stay tuned for more info and to catch the next one!)

in regards to the product it self, let me put it this way. a few years ago i was in the same place you are know thinking should i go with the MD realforce 87U drop or buy the Leopold from a ebay seller that was willing to help me out with customs that saved me around $40. i went with the Leopold FC660C simply because i liked having a smaller footprint and all the F keys are accessible true the right Fn key so don't need them on the top.. and i even like the FC980C because the cable is detachable..But that's all just me..Also Hasu made an awsome controller you can buy for the FC660C making it fully programmable with multiple layers.. using a mac that's awsome for me i can connect my laptop and have functions previously not available to me work now..He also made a controller for the FC980C. He sells them for $42 + $6 shipping and believe it's the best $48 you will ever spend on keyboard related hardware..
i hope this was helpful.. good luck..
