I don't have any topre keyboards, cana someone please explain why the 55g keys are astronomically in higher demand than the variable? What is it about them that were sold out in minutes and the variable ones are still available in both colors?

goldenI can only speak for myself: 55g is the way to go with me simple because I never had the typical hand layout for typing. The keyboard with the variable Gs is for those one that have that fingers-to-travel-keys-layout.... Picture to follow.... ;)

MloJloAh ok so I guess the 55g ones would have been the ones I wanted too then unfortunately. They are the ones famous for their "thock thock" sound?

goldenTopre in general is known for the thock sound, just that most people tend to prefer 55g topre switches over variable weighted and 45g ones.

goldenTopre in general sounds pretty similar, especially Realforce keyboards, regardless of weight. Here are a few of my typing videos just to give you an idea of what they sound like:

livingspeedbumpThe 55g is easily the best one, although the silenced one sounds quiet but full of thock too. 55g easy.
