Just got a HHKB. Would a Realforce be a good decision or are Topre keyboards similar? Just asking since I'm new to MK and my HHKB is still shipping.

holycarpI've tried both Realforce / HHKB and i personally own one Realforce 87u Uniform 55g. I would say that both of the keyboard feels pretty much the same. Realforce is plate-mounted and HHKB is case-mounted, which mean HHKB is very lightweight and Realforce is pretty solid heavy. Realforce feels smoother and HHKB sounds better for me, also i found that HHKB 45g is way more tactile than Realforce. At the end it's a personal preference of which layout and form-factor you prefer. I would be opting for the 55g Realforce Model but i'm also looking one HHKB for my MacBook as it is portable so I can carry it around and leave my Realforce home for Desktop use :)

OnceThinkTwiceThanks for the detailed reply! Guess I'll have to sit this one out then since I'm also waiting on the WhiteFox.
