TOPS Baja 3.0 Fixed Blade

Yeah, for me this is about the least appealing a knife could look. Basically, it's tan...all over. I like the shape and features and if it were probably any other color scheme I'd be in, black with stonewash blade etc... Loving my Baghdad Bullet though! =)

I've been waiting and hoping Massdrop would be able to drop this knife (is that how to refer to it?). I now know the value with several other knife 'brands' some are a tremendous deal on Massdrop, others... not so much. I found it on Amazon for $100, lowest price I found was Cabela's also for $85. This knife is definitely worth $100, but if I had only one knife to take into the woods, I'd go with something with a longer blade, like the TOPS Silent Hero (I hope they can drop this knife soon too!). It's a beast of a little knife, 1/8" thick, full flat grind, distal tapper. It's ideal use is skinning and kitchen use. The pouch design allows it to be carried vertically or horizontally (scout style), its friction fit, and ambidextrous. Most of these features are unusual for a TOPS knife, and I like it, a lot. I'm in! But... I'll commit at $80, currently the price is $85, so I need a few folks to commit as well to make this drop happen. Good thing is, we have 5 days until the drop, so there is time, and I predict the price will drop.
