When you’re running an ultramarathon, you shouldn’t be worried about the tools in your pack. That’s why ultrarunner, martial artist, triathlete, and knife designer Matt Graham came up with the Little Bugger: a tool you won’t notice when you’re carrying it, but won’t fail when you need it most. Measuring less than 6 inches overall, this little guy is capable of more than meets the eye. The 2.4-inch sheepsfoot blade is made from 1095 steel for good edge retention. The shape makes for excellent control in tight spaces, and the handle—made from micarta—delivers plenty of leverage for tougher cuts. The included sheath has been designed for ease of carry. Thanks to the narrow j-clip, it can be worn on a belt or pack, or even on shorts when you’re on the move.
