I am interested in joining the Tula Pink scissors drop but I would like them shipped to my sister in California instead of to me here in Canada. Is that possible?

As I have not yet participated I was reading through the comments. There is no date to indicate the most recent and gives me no real clue what I mighf be purchasing.

This was my first experience with Massdrop and I'm confused. We committed to a drop and unlocked it just to have it switched out? Isn't that bait and switch? It was only about a $20 savings before like getting the snips free. Do I need to proactively cancel or just not join this one?

It's complicated because after listing it they found out that Tula Pink requires fixed pricing for her products. So the scissors are full price but you're getting a book for free. Other things I've purchased from this site have been a much better discount because they didn't have the same restrictions.

Hi @Tabie, If the drop details as listed on the page are not what you are interested in now, you have the option of canceling your order since the drop is still active. You can do this by going into your profile, clicking on transactions and looking for this drop. Once there, you can cancel if you want. Hope that helps and sorry for the confusion!

I was expecting this order for Chirstmas ! Now I met wait till January 10. I'm disappointed and yet ready to have Tulla Pink book and sizzors and reiper for my Daughterinlaw hurry!!

The price will be the same and it will be for the 8" shears, seam ripper and book.
The description says that you need to select which item you want, or whether you want to purchase all three. I don't see the option to do this, so I really hope the price that I am committing to is for all three!
It says you can pick just one item at checkout but I don't see that option, I only want the seam ripper.
The listing shows $57.99 is our cost, but the MSRP is only $39.99. That doesn't seem like a bargain to me.

I've participated in several drops... Never have I waited over a month for an item. If this vendor can't deliver STOP USING THEM! Also ending it early is bs! I didn't plan on being charged until the 6 th!!! I use a special account for online only and I got charged a fee because I didn't put the funds in yet!!! So WTH??!!

What's up with this drop? You say "we did it" in email then I log back in to show my husband a mere DAY later & this drop is inactive? What scam my bullshit are you guys trying to pull? Thank GOODNESS you only have my PayPal which I can BLOCK in July if they don't show up.

If you received an email saying "we did it" then you successfully joined the drop. This one was unusual in that it ended early because the maximum number of units available had been purchased. Once a drop ends, you receive an email letting you know it was successful. It still lives on the site but becomes inactive. Where did this drop go? It wasn't meant to end for a week and there was no "max XXX customers"??? Really disappointed!

Hi @PinkySorry for the disappointment. For drops where we have a large amount of units we don't list the max XXX customers because the drop usually goes for at least 5 of the 7 days. This drop was very unusual in that members jumped in early. This speaks volumes to how big a following Tula Pink has with the Massdrop community and we will certainly make note of units available in future drops.
I'm reading all this hoping the drop is fixed !!!! and I don't wait months to get it or hate it! Oml! Plus you saying its a typo is unacceptable ... If there's a typo you should ALLOW THAT PRICE!
What's up with this drop. I put it in my cart - the ad says if you want all 3 it's +18 and it added +25 in the cart? Really?? Here's what the ad says: Note: At checkout, choose between the 8-inch fabric shears, a seam ripper (-$16), or a 5-inch curved EZ snip (-$6). You will also have the option to purchase a set of all three (+18). Here's what my cart says: Options $25.00, Set of 3 (extra savings) $25??? You NEED to fix this! Charging $7 more is NOT extra savings!

It figures it would go up, despite the ad. There is another skewed misrepresentation - your MSRP at $115.99 is for all 3 items and your price for the drop is for the individual item(s), with the option to hike the price with add ons. The scissors run $39.99, the seam ripper runs $12.99 and the snips run $23.99 at the popular quilting online retailers - in total that is $76.96, so the MSRP for all 3 might be $115.99, but that seems a bit high to me.

Oh my gosh. Another typo! This drop is for the scissors so the MSRP should be $39.99 and I have updated the copy. The first drop that ran was for the scissors and a Tula Pink fabric bundle which is why it was for $115.99 and not adding up. Apologies for the confusion and thank you for the call outs. I have updated the copy and your help will alleviate frustration for other members. Sorry you had to bear the brunt of it. :-(
Well I received my scissors and I'm very disappointed. These are poorly made and the tips are blunted as if they have been dropped point down. The nut and bolt that the scissors pivot on is gold colored and ruins the whole look of the scissors. I double checked and the pin is not shown anywhere on the post so I could not have known how ugly it would be. This is completely unacceptable considering how much I paid and how long I waited.
