Received mine yesterday and was able to open them, find the correct size inserts and use them. I ended up using 12.5mm foamies to try and replicate my experience with Comply TX-100s on my SE215s. I think my left ear canal is a bit smaller than my right so I may have to adjust insert size. Listening to a range of music from modern hardrock to classic rock to R&B to country, I find these have a very pronounced midrange and clear highs. The lows seem a bit quiet and less present than I might have expected. They do sound good though and the stereo image is nice!

RustyFalconWhat are you comparing these to? I find they pack quite a low end punch. But I use a pair of etymotic ER4SR and the HD800 on a daily basis.
If you want to have a bit more low end get yourself triple flange ear tips for deep insertion. I tried putting on the etymotic tips on mine and that improves both isolation and adds a bit more grunt to the low end

NoClueWhatUsernameToChooseGood tip on triple flanges, I may try that if I continue feeling these are light on bass. I use HD650 on a daily basis and also the SE215s
