I used to own a pair of these... absolutely loved them. Unfortunately, they were stolen from my checked luggage during a flight... can't seem to bring myself to drop another $300-400 for these a 2nd time around.

I guess its nice that the frequency range goes all the way up to 42,000 Hz. That should improve the listening experience for dogs and dolphins and all other creatures that can hear stuff over 20,000 Hz.

I've always wanted a pair of these, but I've seen them for cheaper ($350) at b&h in the US. Thanks for bringing them out for us though!

I own a pair. Matched my PS3 up with a Schiit Optical Modi and Asgard 2 to drive them for late night movie watching. They've chewed up and spit out every movie I've thrown at them. Never left wanting for low end response during the most intense scenes.

I've owned a set of 900's for about 4 year snow. Excellent headphones. Certainly not a flat response but very pleasing to listen to. Dark Side of the Moon sounds great on these. The 900's have great bass extension and punch, but it can almost be too much if you're unaccustomed. They can be driven off a laptop/phone alone, but they really shine with a standalone amp. The isolation is only 'ok' since they come with velour pads. Leather pads (J$) greatly improve the isolation.

I've borrowed these headphones from a friend, and they're great. Very solid, but light and comfortable. Great sound, especially for bassy electronica. I wouldn't call them great unbiased studio monitor headphones by any stretch -- but they're a heck of a lot of fun. Great for desk headphones at work.

These phones really are as solid as they look. Great bass, brilliant resolution. Only gripe is the velour on the pads, it bobbles a bit with use and could be softer (apparently you can put the much softer Beyer pads on them).
