jmanuelPoker II has a programmable layer. Also, on the Poker II backlighting is optional and only one color with no fancy "breathing" mode. You can adjust the brightness up and down as needed.
I have a V60 and I have a Poker II. If I had to choose one, it would be the Poker II. For a straight out of the box board, pretty much nothing beats that programmable layer.
Loonybin0Also a big selling point for me is the ability to permanently use the (win, menu, ctrl, right shift) keys as arrow keys. I'm not sure if you can do this on the poker ii without holding down PN or FN to activate a programmed layer.
angerthosenearif you press FN+enter , the right (win, menu, ctrl, right shift) keys will become as arrow keys. And the white LED under right shift key will light up.
teainhaler77I bought a V60 just because it was much cheaper than the poker and had backlights. After a few months of use, I don't know why anyone would prefer the poker.
The placement of the arrow keys on the V60 are just perfect. Being able to use Fn+ P(up)L(left);(down): (right) with using just my right hand turned out to be much more practical than I thought. This being my first 60% keyboard, I figured that I would miss having the arrow keys... then I realized that this keyboard has three sets of arrows!
