I got this with Matias Quiet Tactile keys, and the "SS" key keeps double registering. Like it did right there when I tried to just type "S". Any advice on how to remedy this?

echoes1313sorry that no one has answered you. I just saw this. What you are describing is "chatter." It seems to happen a lot on matias switches. You will have to either remove and fiddle with the inner leaf spring (clean and make sure it is properly bent) or replace the switch entirely.
It's just something you have to deal with on some batches of Matias switches. I've replaced 3 on my v60 over the past few years.

PixelPusherXXThanks for the follow-up! I tried removing the keycap and correcting the inner spring, but to no avail. I ended up sending it back and will hope for a Cherry silent red keyboard soon.

nogoodnamesI had this on mine, but in my case it might have been caused by replacing the quiet-click springs with click springs. I solved my problem by using a toothpick to gently pull the moving bit of the contact leaf away from the base, so as to create more space and spring in the spring. I also cleaned it thoroughly. I can sketch it out if you like.

echoes1313Same issue here with the f and t keys. I got the board with the Matias quiet switches.
