I love all the things in titanium. Been using this as my daily water bottle. High quality low weight.

Outstanding canteen
This product exceeds my expectations. The machining is amazing and the canteen is extremely light and beautiful. I would definitely purchase this again.

it holds things adequately, silicone seal is loose and falls out, finish is a bit rough.

Dead05906It's very thin titanium and will dent pretty easy, any thin metal cylinder not under pressure will dent pretty easy even tungsten.

This bottle is quite luxurious and of high quality, the size is perfect for me in that is holds plenty of fluids and isn't overly massive. The wide opening is great (that's what she said) and I find the overall appearance very attractive. The price is very pretentious but if you are a titanium addict and have the means I would recommend it. Fit and finish are very good, the cap is especially nice and appears to be machined from a solid billet of Ti and has a nice silicone gasket that so far is working as it should be (no leaks). The surface finish is pleasant and appears to be a light bead blast that is even and consistent providing a nice light texture over the entire surface of the bottle. On my postal scale I am coming up with 1.9 ounces for the lid, it looks cool and feels solid, has a nice heft to it. The bottle empty with no lid is coming in at 6.1 ounces, that being said I wouldn't say this is for someone looking to have something super light for backpacking, there are plastic options that are lighter in both weight and wallet destroying cost but it is by no means heavy either. My only complaints are that when screwing the lid on or off it is just plain loud, the harmonics of the bottle seem to amplify the scrapping sound although it is very smooth. I can get over that, not a big deal but worth mentioning. If I was sitting in a meeting I would feel like an asshole taking the lid on and off of this thing as I'd imagine it is loud enough to be a nuisance to some people. The machining overall is very good but for a couple of minor spots, the threads where it tapers down and gets thin (see photo). They are not perfect but kind of rough and wavy looking and I can only assume it is hard to machine this perfectly the way they designed it or I got a bad copy. This does not affect the screwing performance as far as I can tell, it is smooth and the cap comes off and goes on easy. Call me crazy but for the price I would expect everything to be absolutely perfect. If you like Ti stuff and need a fancy bottle, this is about as good as it gets from what I've seen.
