No hiker / backpacker would carry a bottle like this. They carry smart-water bottle or Platypus Bottle both weight about one ounce. This is definitely not ultralight!

JJHikeruhh, people that don't want the harmful chemicals of plastic will buy these for hiking. i personally use klean kanteens because these are too expensive but these are amazing. if you remove the paracord from them it will be much lighter.
