Just as an FYI, if you wanted to get a Varmillo but wanted to get something a little bit more personalized, you can go to geekhack and there's a varmillo vendor forum. I bought a custom one from there with dark grey alphas and mint green modifiers side-printed with ice blue and violet leds with a white case. It turned out very nice, and it only cost 25 more bucks than what's listed here. On top of that, it shipped in 5 business after ordering instead of months. So honestly, unless you want something pretty standard, or are willing to wait and this gets to the lowest drop point, I'd recommend people to go about getting one the way I did. The moderator of the forums named Miya, and she was very nice. Made the whole process incredibly easy. These pics kinda suck but here's how mine turned out.

thomas.browneJust some pictures of my album on imgur of my keyboard that I got custom ordered from Varmillo. I just don't have the best camera so it's kinda shaky.

KangTheMadk so there are two things I'm really interested in in your pics. The first is that it seems you were able to get Varmilo to do different colour LEDs than their usual blue/white/orange choices? These are not your own desolder/resolders right? And also I see red WASD? Is that also from them and is it PBT?

thomas.browneOh, wait a minute, you mean the link for the vendor forum? Here it is: https://geekhack.org/index.php?board=192.0 If you make an account and then post a thread there, or you could just email the moderator Miya, she'll help you out. She sent me like a diagram of the pricing and customization options. Then when I picked out what I wanted, she emailed me like a mock-up of what it would look like, I agreed, and 5 business days later I had my board. Cost 147 bucks with all the options I chose. It would be a little bit more if you chose like, for instance, dye subbed caps, but all in all, very reasonable considering the choice of switches, colors, caps, and overall build quality. I can't say enough good things about Varmillo. I'd never heard of them until relatively recently, but they're definitely gonna be on my radar for whenever I get something else. Something to be aware of, their keycaps ship with a kind of "cherry" profile. It's a tiny bit taller than typical cherry, but you can definitely tell a difference between this and OEM. Just in case you hate cherry profile keycaps so you don't spend a bunch on caps in a profile you don't care for.

KangTheMadYeah I love Varmilo and I have 4 of them already. VBs and VAs. From here on Massdrop. They're my "go to" plank whenever I get custom keycaps so I usually don't use the PBTs that come with them even though they're pretty sweet in front printed form.
What *really* interests me though in the pics is that the purple LEDs. So they'll let you change the LED colours? I've only ever seen blue, white, or orange.
Anyway I have mailed the person you mentioned and I'll see what comes back. Price is a secondary consideration for me if I can get exactly what I want on LED colours, and switches.

thomas.browneYes, they give you like a list of 7 different colors you can use. And yes, those red WASD keys are from them too. All of their keycaps are pbt.

thomas.browneYeah man, you can literally get anything you want. Hell, they'll let you do crazy patterns and shit on space bars if that's your thing. Here's 2 threads to give you some ideas:

They make the whole process really easy. As I said, it took a few days going back and forth on emails cuz the lady Miya was being nice and thorough to make sure I got what I wanted. Then after like 2 or 3 days and me confirming I knew what I wanted, she sent me a paypal invoice. It was like some Chinese proxy thing, but it's legit. Then it took 5 days and I had my board shipped all the way from Hong Kong to Charlotte, NC.

thomas.browneDon't feel too bad. You've only been able to do this since April of this year.
