Got them from AliExpress. Not good. Stiff cable that constantly gets in a way. Everything is uneven. Not impressed. I paid a little less as it is cheaper there, but even for that price I expected a better quality. This is a DIY kind of cable and I seen better DIY cables.

ld100The cable that most folks got from them, as well as the one it seems you went with is totally different, as i've lookd at those. I recieved mine earlier this month, and its super flexible, not stiff at all, and its great quality.
Someone here posted a link on aliexpress saying its the same but cheaper, its definetly not. You should of bought from the drop.

DarknessAngelI asked on Facebook and Venture owner - Lee - never replied regarding the cable on Ali. Then two people who got it from Ali indicated that the cable is basically the same. I went for it and for $35 dollars it is a total garbage. I am not sure how Massdrop version is different, but based on the info I received from others it is blue and the one on Ali is black... Cable is the same. It is $50 bucks on Massdrop and if someone wants to try why not... Personally I will not get another cable from Venture. It is a cable and it functions, but it is a sloppy DIY kind of quality.

ld100Again wrong it's not even remotely the same. This cable is made from a cloth type material that's extremely soft and flexible. If you blew up a shoelace it would be close to what this cable is.

So my guess is that the one @ld100 got is made of Basic-B and this "Exclusive Blue" is made of VE Litz (Black litz).

msxmsxMaybe. DarknessAngel seems to have a different opinion and it is fine with me. What I got from Ali looks like a DIY project. I will not be buying again. Someone else might love it. Judging from the pictures wire is pretty much identical. And quality seems to be the same.
