So sad that my pen was lost in transit. Hope the replacement comes soon...this is my first big purchase for a fountain pen :(

Finally got the pen a few days ago, gave it as a gift for my wife for Mother's Day. Instead of the Extra Fine nib, a Double Broad nib (BB) was what was received. Contacted Support. It kind of sucks since we both write in small font size. The pen feels really nice to write with, though. It's disappointing that there's been two problems so far (first one being really delayed shipment, this one being that they sent the wrong sized nib).

Did not realize this drop was shipped with an in-person signature required, via UPS. UPS also thought it best to not leave a note that they visited on Tuesday - so, when I got the "second notice" (first for me) last night, it was too late to reroute the shipment, via UPS.com, to the office so I could sign for it today. So I am now at work while the third, and final, delivery attempt will be made. That is quite the pain in the rear.

JairalExcellent. It is a beautiful pen. The cap freaked me out the first time I removed it - it dang near lept off. ;b But writes terrific and looks great. Very happy with it.

I don't know the answer to your question for sure, but I just got this e-mail from Massdrop support just a few minutes ago. I'm starting to think the vendor offered prices too good to be true, and something foul went afoot.

Recoil_RobIt said in the description that they only had 30 pens to offer. When they hit that number the drop ended automatically. Not sure if that answers your question.

Great news group! We’re happy to report that most of the orders have been shipped out from our warehouse and are now on the way to you! Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking to get into the shipper's system and start updating. For the people whose order hasn't shipped out expect to be contacted by customer service shortly.

Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the first batch of the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 4/15. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 4/16 or sooner if something comes up.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Visconti Homo Sapiens Florentine Hills and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 4/14.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 4/10.

I've spent too much money on MassDrop, but can't wait to get back into writing on paper again. I just type too fast on a computer where I can't think fast enough to keep up with what I want to write, so I get distracted and end up browsing on the web and going on Facebook. At least I can just be with my thoughts when I write, and have a hand-me-down I can give to my daughter when she grows up.
