Standing desks have taken office spaces around the world by storm. And it makes sense why: For one, they’re clinically proven to increase blood circulation and calories burned, which reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease Read More
The standing desk has been perfect! I have a lot of things on my desk, a 21ux Cintiq, Laptop, Drop+THX AAA 789 AMP, 2 overear headphones, a PS3, a sound bar, a 32 inch television, a few harddrives, a few controllers (ps3, Switch Pro Controller, xbox controller) a 12 pack of can water, and several miscellaneous items. Without even thinking of what the weight capacity is, this desk for me has so far exceeded my expectations. I really like the control module that has 3 presets for adjusting the height of your desk at the press of a button. It's just the legs, so you have to buy your own desktop, which gives you the option to get one that fits your size and purpose. I do believe for the most part this will absolutely fit your needs.
Awesome desk. A must have for those who like to stand
I’ve been using this desk for quite a while now. Very happy with the performance of the electronics and system as a whole. I built the top from a tree I cut, which just adds to the awesomeness of the product. I’ve since added a dual monitor arm to the desk, but hopefully these photos give an idea of just how awesome the product really is.
These legs were able to support my tabletop, which was a solid core door, along with practically all of my computer equipment without significantly impacting the difficulty of raising and lowering the desk
This system works and works very well. I went with the dual motor setup and it is champ. I have a large screen (32 inches so not small), two large satellite speakers (think like 12 x 10) and a tower (30-40lbs) on this thing along with all the necessary PC accessories. I slapped a 60 x 30 ikea board on top, another prolly 30-40lbs (don't even need to screw it in as the balance is very good on this) and it works like a dream.
If you're putting 100lbs+ on this it ain't moving unless you are running into it.
The ONLY problem is the controller, which seems to not like being idle for too long and will become unresponsive around 3-5 hours after the last press. Now this is solved by unplugging and re-plugging in the controller so I bought 20 dollar switch which effectively solves this problem.
I think you'll be hard pressed to find a system with this build quality (this thing is SOLID) and power for this price. You add a $100 ikea board on this and you have a system that may not look as "clean" (but honestly i'd give it a 8/10 on looks) as stealcase but is just as functional for a a fraction of the price.
This product is probably worth twice as much as it cost me when I looked for other options. Well worth it.
This review is after 2 years of use.
dwhitterRead the manual. It's a safety lockout feature. Hold 'M' for 3-5 seconds and it should unlock. Should solve your problem of having to constantly reset it by unplugging and plugging back in all the time.
This is a great stand. I've had it a few years and had no problems. I use my Ikea Karlby countertop above it and it still has no problems. Overall, this is a great sit/stand frame.
This table was simple to setup easy to get in and out of the place I put it originally, I ended up just getting a countertop from the local home depot and mounted the legs to it. Worked like a champ functions perfectly its goes plenty high and low and can hold quite a lot of weight, I currently have a 4 monitor stand and extra peripherals and it has no issues, I love this desk and will hightly reccomend to anyone!!
I bought 3 for my small business. Solid desks, but the controller is buggy. Constantly freezes and unresponsive to touch, requires unplugging and replugging to regain function
After a year of use, it stopped lowering all the way. At first I thought I was crazy, then one day I manually held the button to lower it instead of using the preset and it only went down to my chest. So I grabbed a wrench and manually cranked it down as far as it would go. Things were fine for about 2 months then it happened again. Now I just deal with the fact that I have to manually lower it every two months.
works excellent for gaming, the single motor holds three monitors and a tower without issue (table top is 35lbs) would recommend the 2 motor for anyone with a serious setup.
